Basin2™ has been retired
Dear colleague,
For the better part of a decade, the Hydrogeology Program has been fortunate to be able to distribute the Basin2 software package to the scientific community at no charge. The distribution was free, so we have had no resources during this time of rapid change in the Windows computing environment to update or maintain the package.
As a result, the software does not work correctly under Windows Vista, and is not fully compatible with Office 2007 or current versions of illustration programs, such as Adobe Illustrator.
Many of you have made it clear to us in direct and unambiguous terms that this situation is not acceptable to the user community. We understand and, recognizing that our old friend Basin2 has outlived its useful lifespan, have accepted reality and retired the software.
