Research

Dr. Marshak's research interests involve three topics: Proterozoic tectonic evolution of the Brazilian shield (involving field studies in Brazil), Phanerozoic tectonism in midcontinent North America, structural geology of fold-thrust belts (particularly the formation of map-view curves).
