Noah Jemison

I completed my Ph.D. in 2018, working in Tom Johnson's isotope geochemistry group, and have continued my work in environmental geochemistry with a postdoctoral scholar position at Los Alamos National Laboratory.

At Illinois I studied contaminated groundwater systems with non-traditional stable isotopes. I used uranium isotopes to track groundwater processes like adsorption, reduction, and oxidation. Through better and faster determination of these processes, clean-up efforts may be applied more rapidly.

I also enjoy playing tennis, watching football, and eating at buffets.
