Hello! Thanks for checking out my page! I am currently a Masters candidate in the UIUC Geology department. My field of study is in the realm of isotope biogeochemistry and hydrogeology. I look at the way microorganisms affect the chemistry of groundwater and I use isotopes as a proxy for their behavior within different environments - particularly to understand the rate at which they are growing and respiring. My research calls for a modeling component and I use CrunchTope and Matlab to better understand and quantify biogeochemistry within a reactive transport framework. I work with my primary advisor Jennifer Druhan and my co-advisor Robert Sanford.
