Hello! Thanks for checking out my page! I completed my Master's degree in the UIUC Geology department, and as of fall, 2018, I moved to University of Barcelona to pursue a Ph.D.

My field of study is in the realm of isotope biogeochemistry and hydrogeology. At Illinois I looked at the way microorganisms affect the chemistry of groundwater and how we use stable isotopes as a proxy for their behavior within different environments - particularly to understand the rate at which they are growing and respiring. My research calls for a modeling component and I use CrunchTope and Matlab to better understand and quantify biogeochemistry within a reactive transport framework. I worked with my primary advisor Jennifer Druhan and my co-advisor Robert Sanford.
